Love Malaysia? Well, now you can get there for less. London’s Trafalgar Square will host a vibrant, bustling night market dedicated to Malaysian food, music, culture and entertainment on Friday 18th September at Malaysia Night.
Malaysia Night returns for its sixth consecutive year to the iconic London site, with visitor numbers estimated to reach 60,000. Visitors will be able to see, smell and samples treats from the country from the best Malaysian eateries from all over the UK. Each restaurant will be serving up a handpicked selection of some of their most popular dishes – none of which will cost more than £5.
Norman Musa, Europe’s leading Malaysian chef, will be in attendance and wowing the crowd with his culinary skills. He will show you exactly how to recreate these tasty dishes at home and afterwards you’ll be able to pick up the authentic ingredients with a wealth of traditional producers on hand. Ping Coombes, Masterchef 2014 winner and John Torode will also be making an attendance.
Malaysian entertainment will add to the ambience of the evening and will serve to introduce visitors to the sights and sounds of this fascinating country. With over 500 items of Malaysian products, food and drink available to look at and experience you will certainly be able to take a piece of Malaysia home with you at the end of the evening. Win.
