What: To celebrate the British festival season, Chelsea’s hidden cocktail bar Barts has partnered with their delightful neighbourhood friends at Duck & Dry,Chelsea’s iconic blow dry boutique located on the Kings Road. They’ve set up the ultimate secret weekend pop-up, where you can sip on refreshing cocktails, nosh on nibbles and enjoy a fabulous signature blowout or up-do styled by Duck & Dry‘s talented stylists.

Why: Barts will be joining the flock and setting up shop at the famed boutique blow dry bar from Thursday (7th) to Saturday (9th), where you can receive the full Duck & Dry experience whilst enjoying summer-inspired Grey Goose tipples created by the talented Barts bar team including: The Duck & Goose, a refreshing cocktail made with a dash of hibiscus and orange syrup, dash of fresh lemon juice, Grey Goose, topped up with prosecco and garnished with a flower; the Passionate Goose, a sweet blend of Grey Goose, passion fruit puree, vanilla syrup garnished with passion fruit; and the signature cocktail of the summer, the Le Grand Fizz –  a sophisticated blend of Grey Goose, St. Germain Elderflower liqueur, freshly squeezed lime, and chilled soda water, the perfect sipper to enjoy whilst getting pampered.

3. For a Dinner and a Discussion: Wild Honey Offal Dinner

What: Wild Honey, the Michelin-Starred restaurant in Mayfair from Anthony Demetre and Will Smith will welcome a line-up of industry heavyweights to host a one-off Offal Dinner on  Tuesday (5th). The menu, designed by Anthony Demetre will explore the nuances of offal, while the guest panel will offer their musings on the often misunderstood meat.

Why: The evening will be comperéd by food writer Rosie Birkett, a proponent of offal since her first taste as a child. Rosie will be joined by a panel of food writers and experts; Tim Hayward, William Sitwell and Xanthe Clay, who will impart their wisdom on the matter, whilst Martin Morales and Lyle’s Head Chef James Lowe will share their insights on cooking with offal. Each course will be punctuated with conversation and a Q & A between the panel and fellow guests. Anthony’s menu will tackle offal head on, getting straight to the ‘Heart of the matter’ with ox heart, followed by; pigs head and bread, lamb sweetbreads and rocky mountain oysters with sheeps ricotta, grilled beef bavette and honeycomb and blood and chocolate tart with Jersey milk sorbet.

5. For Photos and Pisco Sours: Lionel Richie Exhibition at 45 Park Lane

What: This week sees the exclusive exhibition by US photographer, Alan Silfen launch at the Dorchester Collection’s contemporary Mayfair hotel, 45 Park Lane, as part of its art exhibition series. Previously unseen photography of Lionel Richie will be unveiled chronicling  the GRAMMY Award winning superstar’s career to date in STILL.

Why: The collection of photographs shown in BAR 45 at 45 Park Lane by Silfen show the close relationship he’s experienced with Lionel from the 80’s to the present day, depicting iconic moments such as Lionel’s recent Glastonbury performance as well as candid shots with Princess Diana, Frank Sinatra, Tina Turner and LL Cool J.

6. For Drinks and Dinner: From North London to West Bengal Dinner at The Drapers Arms

What: On Wednesday (6th) July, Romy Gill, chef- owner of Romy’s Kitchen in Thornbury, and Oliver Rowe, chef and author of Food for All Seasons, will be collaborating for one evening only at Islington favourite, The Drapers Arms. The evening will draw on both chef’s passions, exploring flavours from Romy’s Bengali heritage with inflections of seasonal British produce.

The evening will begin with a refreshing lemonade with black salt, chilli and gin, followed by an array of dishes including: goat and quail’s egg scotch egg with pickled red onion; curried pigeon breast, mustard seed yoghurt, beetroot and red onion salad; and mango and cardamom syllabub. The event will be held in the upstairs dining room of The Draper’s Arms and will begin at 7pm.

7. For Music and Mayhem: Wave Festival
