1. For a Full Moon Party: Pop Brixton 

What: To celebrate the Pop Brixton’s new “Around The World” theme, Pop have partnered with resident vendors Vietbox to host their first ever Full Moon Party, from 5pm till midnight.

The Lowdown: Everyone will be transported to the beaches of Thailand with DJs playing late into the night, a whole load of UV body paint, captivating live performers and special cocktails created especially for the celebration. And it won’t cost you anything to get in.

Weekend Guide: Saturday 28th July

2. For a Supper Club:Kino Vino x TT Liquor 

What: Get ready for a food and film dining experience as Kino Vino and cocktail specialists TT Liquor team up for a Sardinian feast, the first of a monthly series. Hosted on the upper floor of TT Liquor on 28th July, guests will be treated to a unique film-and-supper experience, exploring the way which food, culture and cinema interact to enhance the culinary experience.

The Lowdown: Beginning from 7pm, guests will be met with a refreshing welcome cocktail and nibbles, before being guided to TT Liquor’s own private cinema to watch a short film of the Taviani brothers’ neo-realistic 1977 classic Padre Padrone, preparing themselves for the feast ahead. Post-film, guests will be invited up the stairs to the banqueting space, and dive into a four-course Sardinian feast, courtesy of chef and food illustrator Letitia Clark, paired with boozy concoctions from TT Liquor’s mixology wizards.

3. For Alcohol-Free Fun: Mindful Drinking Festival 

What: Club Soda (aka the mindful drinking movement), is once again holding the only festival in the world for the sober curious this summer. Launching this weekend at Spitalfields Market, the Mindful Drinking Festival will give attendees the opportunity to taste the new wave of alcohol-free drinks hitting the market. These include seven new alcohol-free spirits, nine alcohol-free beers and a host of drinks invented by radical alchemists, such as kombuchas, shrubs and elixirs.

The Lowdown: Fever-Tree will be hosting two masterclasses on the day educating consumers on their range and how well they complement the seven new alcohol-free spirits which have recently joined the market. These include Ceders: a distilled non-alcoholic alt-gin made, a mix of exotic South African and classic gin botanicals. Guests will be given a session on how to create the perfect, alcohol-free serve as well as giving people an opportunity to sample these new and exciting products.

4. For a Musical Brunch: Joe Allen 

What: On 29th July, Joe Allen will team up with cast members from Bat Out Of Hell to perform live at its Burleigh Street home, giving brunch-goers the chance to hear some of the best voices in the West End perform a very special acoustic set.

The Lowdown: Stars of Meatloaf-inspired rock epic Bat Out Of Hell will be singing songs from the smash hit show, including Christine Bennington, Danielle Steers, Alex Thomas-Smith and Andrew Polec who was crowned winner of Joe Allen’s ‘Best West End Debut’ award at this year’s Stage Theatre Awards. Brunch dishes on offer include blueberry pancakes and maple syrup with poached strawberries and sweetened mascarpone; grilled steak and eggs with hash browns and tomatoes; and lobster brioche roll with poached lobster, spicy mayonnaise and French fries

5. For a Closing Party: Last Days of Shoreditch 

What: With Red Gallery Last Days Of Shoreditch closing its doors for an Art’otel Hoxton development, this signals the end of an era for East London and leaves the gallery and entertainment venue in search of a new home. In celebration of eight years of creativity and entertainment, Red Gallery and Last Days of Shoreditch will be throwing one final knees up.

The Lowdown: A bastion of honest fun and entertainment, the closing party action kicks off from 1pm-11pm, offering revellers this one last and final chance to party in one of East London’s most loved spots. Expect musical performances from Phil Mison (Balearicos), Nancy Noise, Geddes and more, along with a surprise headliner – this definitely promises to be a night to remember!
