You know the drill: rally your chums and grab your Visa Debit, it’s time to get brunching like a boss. Forget your greasy spoon, here’s 5 brand new ways to eat brunch in London this weekend:
1. For a Disco Brunch: Randy’s Wing Bar Aldgate
What: Head down to Randy’s new city set-up in Aldgate and shake your money-maker whilst chowing down on mouth-watering burgers and some of the best wings in the business.
Why: Wing connoisseurs Randy’s are serving up the ultimate saucy Saturday session (12pm-4pm), complete with funky vibes courtesy of their house DJ and free-flowing prosecco and cocktails. Feast on their famed brunch dishes including banana bread waffles and The Full Randy’s boasting bacon wrapped buffalo wings, with the option of bottomless Espresso Martinis, Mimosas’, Bloody Marys, Aperol Spritz and Prosecco for an extra £19.

2. For an Italian Brunch: Sartoria
What: Francesco Mazzei’s renowned Mayfair restaurant, Sartoria, have taken inspiration from Southern Italy for their new brunch dishes. Expect mid-morning Italian classics alongside some exciting new additions to the à la carte menu.
Why: Francesco’s revered eggs Purgatorio with spicy tomato and ’nduja sauce, are accompanied by eggs and truffle, a combination of baked chicken, duck and quail’s eggs topped with truffle shavings, and Patata e caviale, a double-baked potato with soft boiled egg and Keta caviar. From the accompanying special Saturday à la carte menu, dishes include balsamic glazed smoked eel with polenta; fettucine with venison ragù and pistachio; and smoked mackerel, poached egg and avocado.

3. For a Waffle Menu: Duck and Waffle
What: International Waffle Day is almost upon us! On Sunday (25th March) the world recognises this iconic fluffy, buttery dish, which is just as at home served as a main meal or as a dessert. To celebrate, Duck & Waffle has created a special, one-day-only menu.
Why: As well as the restaurant’s eponymous duck and waffle dish -a crispy duck leg confit and fried duck egg with mustard maple syrup – Executive Chef Tom Cenci has created mega sweet and savoury eats. Choose from foie gras with marmalade and pork crackling, ox cheek benedict with hen’s egg and Sriacha or smoked salmon royale, with hen’s egg and horseradish and chive for main. For something sweet try the brand-new interpretation of the classic Full Elvis: the spring fever Elvis – a glorious combination of rhubarb, blood orange, lemon tea jam, almond butter and mascarpone Chantilly. Other dessert offerings include caramelised banana with house-made hazelnut and chocolate spread, vanilla ice cream and peanut crunch, and toffee apple with maple sauce and cinnamon ice cream.

4. For a New Brunch Menu: Passo
What: Passo have given their weekend offering a makeover, and have recently added new Italian-style brunch bites to their menu as well as new feasting roasts, available on Sunday.
Why: Passo’s new brunch menu features some particularly sexy dishes like the creamy Nutella French toast, and ricotta pancakes with mascarpone and berry compote. One of Passo’s most popular pasta dishes can now be found in the form of a brunch special with the wild boar ragu on toast with parmigiano alongside shakshuka baked with chunks of ‘nduja and mozzarella. For a sharing roast: the Passo team are now serving porcini rubbed roast dry aged Aberdeen Angus beef rump, roast porchetta, fennel and chilli sausage stuffing, and garlic and thyme roast chicken with lashing of gravy, all the sides, roasties, and Yorkshire puddings.

5. For a Sunday Lunch: Opera Tavern
What: Opera Tavern in Covent Garden are celebrating one of the most popular Spanish dishes with the launch of Paella Sundays. Every Sunday, from 12pm-10pm, enjoy a three-course meal for £30 per person, including a choice of traditional or a monthly changing special paella.
Why: There’s a glass of Cava or cold sherry on arrival, before a starter is served – this month it’s the seasonal speciality of grilled calcots in a Romesco sauce. The main event is a choice between classic paella with prawn, chorizo, chicken, mussels and saffron, or the special for March, the Valencian with slow cooked rabbit, Dorset snails, garlic and parsley butter. Dessert is a refreshing orange sorbet with clementine crisp.

What: This Easter, EGGBREAK in Notting Hill is going all in with their chocolatey special. Make way (and room in your stomach) for their deliciously decadent Creme Egg French toast.
Why: This sweet little number features gooey chocolate and banana-stuffed French toast, coated in crispy cornflakes, topped with generous helping of Cadbury milk chocolate shavings and a Cadbury Creme Egg to finish it off. Don’t miss out on this special: the French Toast is available until Easter Sunday.
