We really don’t want to like Christmas pizzas, but who are we kidding – we adore these slices of yuletide joy. If you want to shake up your Christmas burger routine, give these doughy beauties a whirl. Time to tuck in:
1. For a Special Collaboration: Yard Sale Pizza x DJ BBQ
The Pizza: The Damn Don – tomato sauce, Brussel sprouts, pancetta, mozzarella, black pepper and DJ BBQ’s double smoked garlic and Sriracha mayo
The 411: Hot, hot dang! The Yard Sale gang have teamed up with DJ BBQ to create a special Christmas in support of Streetsmart, a charity helping homeless and vulnerable people across the UK. Up for grabs now until the end of December, the Damn Don features Yard Sale’s double fermented dough with signature slow cooked tomato sauce topped with shredded Brussel sprouts, pancetta, Fior Di Latte Mozzarella, black pepper plus DJ BBQ’s double smoked garlic and Sriracha mayo. One of the best Christmas pizzas in London, for sure.

2. For a Brussel Sprout Pizza: Martello Hall and Canova Hall
The Pizza: Deck the Halls – Brussel sprouts, pancetta, stracciatella and parmesan
The 411: Whether Brussel sprouts are your Christmas favourite or you still hide them under your mash, Martello Hall in Hackney and Canova Hall in Brixton have whipped up a mean festive pizza: Deck the Halls. The pizza features wood roasted Brussel sprouts, smoked pancetta, stracciatella, parmesan, red onion, sage and lemon. Brussel sprouts covered with two types of cheese? We’re in.

3. For a Sweet/Savoury Slice: Pizza Pilgrims
The Pizza: It’s a Wonderful Slice – Mortadella ham, fresh buffalo mozzarella, crushed pistachios and olive oil
The 411: Pizza Pilgrims have ditched the generic turkey and cranberry combo for something on the nuttier side. It’s a Wonderful Slice, available throughout December, features a pistachio butter base, topped with slices of Mortadella ham, fresh buffalo mozzarella, crushed pistachios and drizzled with olive oil. Crunchy nuts, creamy cheese, smoked ham – it all works. One of the best Christmas pizzas in London!

4. For Two Christmas Specials: Four Hundred Rabbits
The Pizza: Two Christmas sourdough specials
The 411: Four Hundred Rabbits are serving not one, but two festive pizzas at their Crystal Palace and Nunhead digs. The first speciality features confit duck, shredded Brussel sprouts, pomegranate seeds, San Marzano DOP tomatoes and Fior di Latte mozzarella. The second festive sourdough pizza showcases many of the season’s favourite flavours, pairing kale with toasted pumpkin seeds, cranberry sauce, chestnut crème fraîche and smoked cave-aged cheddar, plus a drizzle of orange and clove oil.

5. For a Christmas Dinner Pizza: Fire & Stone
The Pizza: Christmas Pizza – roast turkey, sausage, apricot & herb stuffing, brie, crispy bacon, rosemary roast potatoes and sautéed Brussels sprouts
The 411: Good grief, Fire & Stone really have gone the whole nine yard with their Christmas creation. This is basically a Christmas dinner on a pizza base, and includes all the well-loved festive bites. One of the best Christmas pizzas in London – a pizza base is topped with roast turkey, sausage, apricot and herb stuffing, brie, crispy bacon, rosemary roast potatoes, sautéed Brussels sprouts, gravy, and sweet cranberries.
