This is some damn exciting news. Street food favourites, Young Vegans, have opened their first bricks and mortar site in Camden Market. Never heard of Young Vegans? We’ll get you up to speed. And the team’s pies are off the ruddy chain – think flaky, delicious pies packed full of wholesome ingredients. Here’s what you need to know:
Young Vegans: The 411
Young Vegans was founded by vegan duo, Carla Monsora and Marco Casadei. Carla is a vegan chef with a passion and flair for creating unique and mouth-watering dishes. Marco is an experienced entrepreneur with an interest in sustainable businesses that have a positive impact on people and the planet. Their mission is to challenge the current status quo to prove that vegan is more than just another dietary option.
Having spotted a gap in the market for comfort food that was delicious, good for you and all-inclusive to the widest range of customers available, Young Vegans was born. Their pies can be enjoyed by all, whether you’re a vegan, vegetarian, flexitarian, gluten intolerant, health conscious or just fancy a tasty pie that makes you feel good. In 2016 the brand began popping up at street food markets across London (Brick lane, Lower Marsh Market, Hackney Downs Vegan Market and Tottenham Green) as well as festivals and events across the UK.
