5 Ways to Eat Brunch in London This WeekendBy Alicia Grimshaw
We don’t know how we’ve done it, but we’ve managed to find 5 new brunch menus in London. This week we’re loving Indian-style brunches: full of flavour, spice and a welcome break from avo on toast. Hungry? It’s time to brunch:
1. For a New Brunch Menu: Indian Accent
What: Chef Manish Mehrotra at Indian Accent in Mayfair has put his unique spin on brunch with expertly spiced, imaginative plates that take inspiration from traditional regional dishes.
Eat and Drink: Following in the footsteps of the wildly successful brunch menu at its sister restaurant in NYC, relaxed Indian-style brunch dishes feature the likes of Parsi fried eggs with crispy potatoes and chutney; chilli crab cheese toast with summer cucumber pickle and tamarind ketchup; and quail egg pulao with bacon, crispy shallots and mint yoghurt.
Gimme more: Try the the chicken chilli dabba gosht with baked eggs– a quirky, Indian-inspired take on shakshuka, served with paratha.
