We’ve checked the weather and this weekend is set to be a scorcher. Forget topping up your tan, here’s 5 brand new ways to eat brunch in London this weekend:
1. For a Canada Day Brunch: Crystal Head Vodka x lululemon x The Coral Room
What: In case you didn’t get the memo, Sunday 1st July is Canada Day, and to celebrate, Canadian brands Crystal Head vodka and lululemon fitness gurus have collaborated to create the ultimate ‘healthy hedonist’ brunch at The Coral Room, The Bloomsbury Hotel.
Eat and Drink: The morning includes a lululemon yoga session, Bloody Caesar masterclass and a Canadian cocktail-laced brunch featuring three new cocktails: Bloody Caesar with Crystal Head vodka, clamato juice and a signature spice mix; Morning Thyme, Crystal Head vodka, apple juice, ginger ale and thyme; and Elderflower Power, a summery concoction of Crystal Head vodka, elderflower cordial, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, topped with grapefruit soda.

2. For a New Brunch Dish: Tramshed
What: It seems like Yorkshire Puddings are getting a lot of love nowadays. And rightly so. Mark Hix has created a new batter beauty, available on Tramshed’s brunch menu: a Yorkshire pudding breakfast sandwich filled with sausage, bacon, and eggs. Lovely stuff.
Eat and Drink: The menu features a selection of hearty British brunch dishes in keeping with the character of the restaurant. Forget toast and jam, feast on the likes of Yorkshire pudding with whipped chicken livers, Peter Hannan’s sugar pit beef and green bean salad with Tewkesbury mustard dressing, Cock ‘n’ Bull hash with fried Braddock White duck egg, and scrambled Burford Browns with De Beauvoir ‘HIX cure’ smoked salmon.

3. For a Brunch Event: Nick Grimshaw x Sexy Fish
What: DJ Nick Grimshaw and Sexy Fish have teamed up to launch their brand new brunch series, Grimmy Presents. Kicking off on Sunday 1st July, Grimmy will be spinning tunes, with a set brunch menu and dedicated cocktail list to accompany.
Eat and Drink: Highlights include the Sexy Eggs, Sexy Fish’s take on the popular Eggs Benedict – consisting of black charcoal muffin with a poached egg and yuzu hollandaise, with a choice of tuna and avocado or lobster, and some delicious asparagus soldiers with bacon and a soft egg. Highlights from the Set Brunch include smaller dishes of watermelon and feta, edamame and wasabi croquettes, “Bloody Mary” Ceviche, avocado salad and lime, baby chicken and kimchi. And for those with a sweet tooth, the Sexy Brunch dessert features green tea waffles.

4. For a Boozy Brunch: Moet Chandon x Avenue
What: On Saturday 30th June, Moët are taking over Avenue, transforming your brunch experience into a fully-fledged summer party. Expect Magnums of Moët champagne, a Moët pyramid and special guest DJ Hedkandi’s JayLi who will be bringing her Nikki Beach vibes to St James.
Eat and Drink: Sweet dishes include a selection of yogurts (Greek, sheep’s or soya), with fresh fruit salad, honey granola and fruits, and buttermilk waffles or pancakes topped with berry compote and sour cream, or bacon and maple syrup. Fancy some eggs? You’re in luck. There’s everything from scrambled eggs and salmon on sourdough, crushed avocado, feta and poached eggs on toast and eggs Benny.

5. For a Bottomless Brunch: The Montague on the Gardens Hotel
What: Complete with real sand, beach huts and deck chairs – the annual summer Beach Bar at The Montague on the Gardens hotel is back. This time, they’ve stepped it up a notch with their all-new bottomless brunch offering. It’s the closest thing to visiting Barbados without leaving the capital.
Eat and Drink: The menu includes brunch-inspired sharing platters featuring items like avocado and smoked salmon on granary toast, black pudding Scotch eggs, Cumberland sausage with red onion chutney in a brioche bun, plus a tasty mini chicken and bacon burger, cheesy fried camembert with cranberry sauce, and an ice cream cone to finish. On the drinks front, there’s tropical cocktails like Pina Colada, Sex on the Beach, Vodka Melon Cooler, as well as a Mimosa or Bloody Mary.
