It’s sunny in London this weekend, which means we all stock up on disposable barbecues, fruity cider is bought like water and beer gardens become our second home. If you fancy eating your poached eggs in the sunshine – we’ve discovered 5 new brunch menus you need to try in the capital this weekend. Happy feasting, pals:

1. For a New Brunch Menu: 34 Mayfair

What: Chef Harvey Ayliffe has revamped 34 Mayfair’s brunch menu – and it’s a showstopper. The menu now features modern mid morning eats with international influences, largely based around the bespoke Argentine parilla grill.

Why: New note-worthy, extravagant and indulgent additions to the menu include a thick and delicious café latte milkshake – ideal for the hotter weather. On the food menu, feast on dishes such as Japanese wagyu croquettes with wasabi mayo; corn tacos with stone bass ceviche, apple and avocado; smoked short rib hash with Houses of Parliament sauce; and waffles with foie gras, duck egg and Seville orange marmalade.

2. For a Bottomless Brunch: Coq dArgent

What: City restaurant Coq dArgent has launched its Parisian Feast; a new Sunday lunch with bottomless French starters and desserts, accompanied by a resident DJ and killer views of the capital.

Why: Alongside a European twist on traditional Sunday lunch mains, starters are served buffet-style and feature platters of Colchester and Jersey oysters with mignonette, and charcuterie of different cured meats, terrines and pâtés. Why: Healthy new brunch dishes created by Michelin-awarded Chef Patron Aggi Sverrisson include the manuka smoked salmon with toasted rye pumpernickel and scrambled eggs, and Aggi’s signature Skyr, served with berries and granola. Why: Highlights from the menu include; black truffled scrambled eggs with fresh truffles on freshly baked brioche topped with comté and chives; French favorite Croque Madame with Mornay Sauce, ham cured in-house, Emmental cheese with a sunny side up fried egg; and for something sweet, Pain Perdu, a traditional recipe by Julien’s grandmother Yvette. Instead of day old baguette, Julien dips slices of fluffy brioche into milk and egg before frying in butter and topping with homemade caramel ice cream.
