Clear the diary and dig out mum’s maternity trousers. The biggest patty party of the year is back for its sixth year running; Thursday 30th August is the official 2018 National Burger Day Party with Mr Hyde… and you’re invited.
National Burger Day 2018: What to Expect
For one day only, over 2,000 hungry Londoners will head to Hawker House, Canada Water’s huge indoor/outdoor mega-market, for Street Feast’s best burger bash to date. They’ve invited 17 patty powerhouses to create a one-off special for the day; expect Burger Day veterans, brand-new names, meaty collaborations, a VEGAN debut (ooooh, hello), two delicious desserts and a one stop chip shop.
National Burger Day 2018: Vendors
Start writing your burger bucket list now. Returning favourites include Bleecker St., Honest Burgers and Mac & Wild, but make sure to try newbies, Truffle, Pocho and Temper, PLUS a first time collab from Flank vs. Salt Shed – you do not want to miss it.
Look out for meat-free magic from Pure Filth with the first ever vegan burger, then say ‘hallo’ to The Beef Chief who’ll be flying over from Amsterdam to show us how the Dutch do it. Save room for something mad-cap from dairy daredevils Chin Chin Labs, plus one top secret pudding trader to be revealed.
There’s also loads of bars serving slushies, craft brews and festival-sized cocktails, as well as a Burger Booth, giveaways and games (if you know about the Burger Piñata, you know).
Tickets are £15 and include an icy-cold Budweiser plus a MacPickleback shot. Kick-off is at 4pm until midnight.
