The Lowdown: The new cereal is a beautiful blend of rolled and toasted flakes with carrot, dried fruits and crunchy pecans – spiced with warming cinnamon and nutmeg. What: If you thought Metcalfe’s only created popcorn – think again. The kernel kings have been at work in their test kitchen creating healthy snacks that go far beyond bags of popped joy. Their new rice cakes are what snacking dreams are made of.
The Lowdown: In their typical innovative style, Metcalfe’s Ricecakes mix the perfect balance of wholegrain and white rice for a crunchy, crispy snack extravaganza. Each slice is lavishly coated in a generous layer of either fancy Italian dark or milk chocolate, or creamy yoghurt. What: PROPERCORN are the popcorn kings. Our drawers are constantly stuffed with their bags of popped corn. Their Sweet & Salty flavour is a winner, as is the dreamy Coconut and Vanilla flavour. But all eyes are on the Peanut Butter & Almond flavour thanks to a new recipe.
The Lowdown: PROPERCORN’s team of passionate flavour makers are constantly tweaking and improving their popcorn recipes to ensure every pack is Done Properly, the best it can possibly be. Tapping into the nut butter craze, their Peanut Butter & Almond flavour has had a little makeover. With all the indulgent flavour of peanut butter, but a fraction of the fat – it’s little sweetness to your summer snacking. Combining protein-packed peanuts with smooth almonds, the recipe uses an innovative process to remove 88% of the fat found in roasted nuts.

What: spoiltpig have recently launched the first Raised Without Antibiotics bacon in the UK, easily identified by the blue Antibiotic Free swing tag. spoiltpig work closely with partner farms, and have established farming and production practices to respond to the threat of antibiotic resistance.
The Lowdown: The bacon maintains spoiltpig’s signature curing processes of hand rubbing with spoiltpig’s special sea salt cure then allowing it to mature fully before being sliced.
