The Landmark London Review: The Lowdown
The Landmark London is one of the most popular luxury, 5* hotels in London – step inside and you’ll see why. There’s something so special about the decor here; with a mix of classic British elegance, grandeur, modern facilities and a world-class spa, it’s a one-shop stop for a perfect luxury stay in the capital. The Landmark London Opened in 1899 and is one of London’s most iconic hotels, but today it has been modernised with new facilities, a new interior design and an even better spa – the perfect blend of old and new. We love.
The Landmark London Review: The Accommodation
The rooms at The Landmark London are really what sets it apart. Spacious, beautifully designed, full of light and warmth, they are the kind of rooms you want to spend all day in. The hotel’s guest rooms are amongst the largest in London offering an average room size of 55 square metres and a variety of room types. The accommodation ranges from Superior Rooms with a Queen-sized bed, classic Victorian furnishing and a sleek Italian marble bathroom, to the Executive Rooms with a King-sized bed, two-seat sofas and a walk-in shower. Sheer perfection.
The Landmark London Review: The Food
There’s a brilliant range of restaurants at The Landmark London, including the Mirror Bar for cocktails, Winter Garden for al fresco dining and twotwentytwo for date nights. For a special dining experience, their Winter Garden restaurant is set beneath a breath-taking glass roof atrium that makes eating al fresco a possibility all year round. It’s very peaceful surroundings with live music and excellent food, perfect for a romantic evening.
If you’re looking for a welcoming restaurant in Marylebone, visit twotwentytwo restaurant and bar. The restaurant offers up delicious dishes, such as buffalo mozzarella and heritage tomatoes and teriyaki glazed salmon with shitake mushrooms and egg noodles, in a great setting. For something quintessentially British, don’t miss afternoon tea in the Winter Garden – treat yourself to their chocolate afternoon tea, which features homemade chocolate delights, scones and sandwiches. Nothing says holiday like a plate of fresh, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, right?
