There’s lots of fantastic events and activities in London this weekend. Why not embrace the cold with a trip ice skating, or get your skates on in Vauxhall for a roller disco. Whether you’re into hot dogs or pop art, we’ve got something for everyone. Here’s 5 ideas for this weekend in London:
1. Try out a Roller Disco: Vauxhall
What: Want to have a halloween night with a difference? Make Flashback Friday a reality with roller disco. Yep, you heard that right. Roller. Disco. If this is up your street, the Renaissance Room, the best roller disco club in London, is holding a night of fun, frolicking and Halloween goodness. There will be drinks on tap, as well as cheesy music and dressing up. It’ll be gruesomely great.
Where: Get your skates on and head to the Renaissance Rooms, in Vauxhall. Miles Street, London, SW8 1RZ.
When: Avoid all the tricks and treat yourself on 31st October. Doors open at 8pm, and tickets are £12.50 including skate hire! For more info or tickets, visit here.
2. Grab your Skates: Natural History Museum
What: With winter officially here, what better way to spend your evening than by ice skating by one of the most beautiful buildings in London? The Natural History Museum is opening it’s annual rink, so grab your skates, and your mates, and start showing off! If you need anymore convincing, there will be mulled wine, hot chocolate and a beautiful Christmas tree to start off the festive season.
Where: The Natural History Museum is the backdrop to Christmas, so head to Cromwell Road, Kensington, SW7 5BD for some icy fun.
When: The rink is open for the next month, but get there early before everyone else finds out! To boycott Halloween and get straight to Christmas, tickets start at £8.80 – including skates!
3. Try Amazing Street Food: Urban Food Fest, Shoreditch
What: There’s been a pop-up boom over the last few years, with shops, fitness events, and even bars. None have been as indulgent as the original pop-up food stalls. In celebration of this AND food in general, 15 stalls of fresh snacks, world foods, and fantastic cuisine will come alive for one day only. There will also be craft beers and ales to help you enjoy foodie heaven to the max.
Where: For food, fun and more food, get yourself to Shoreditch! Euro Car Parks, 162-175 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6HU to be more exact!
When: The pop-up is only around for a day, Saturday, November 1st, and entry is free, so get there early as entry can’t be guaranteed! It’s open from 5pm so loosen your belt buckles and dig in.
4. Buy Incredible Affordable Art: Marylebone
